LifterLMS Automations

Send an Email When a Student Passes a LifterLMS Quiz

A passing result is a natural point to congratulate a student, unlock the next stage, or notify an instructor. Zapify does this with the A user completes a quiz trigger and its Result = Passed setting, followed by the Send an email action.

What this automation does

The automation is one trigger plus one action:

  • Trigger: A user completes a quiz (LIFTERLMS_QUIZ_COMPLETED) with Result = Passed
  • Action: Send an email (WP_SEND_EMAIL)

The quiz trigger covers attempted, passed, and failed outcomes through its Result field. For this automation, choose Passed so failed attempts do not run it.

Before you start

  • LifterLMS must be installed and active.
  • Zapify PRO must be active, since LifterLMS is a PRO integration.
  • The quiz you want to monitor must already exist in LifterLMS.

PRO feature

LifterLMS (lifterlms) is a Zapify PRO integration. The LifterLMS trigger and action used in this automation require an active PRO licence.

How to build the automation

  1. In the WordPress admin, go to Zapify → Automations.
  2. Click Add New to open the builder.
  3. Give the automation a clear name, such as Congratulate students when they pass a quiz.
