Everyday Use
Manage Magic Links in the WordPress Admin
Need to see, copy, or clean up the passwordless login links on your site? The Magic Links page under Magic Link → Magic Links lists every link with its user, status, and expiry, gives each row a Copy button, and lets you create new links and run bulk actions. The list table and the Delete bulk action are free.
What the Magic Links page shows
The Magic Links list table under Magic Link → Magic Links is the central place to manage every passwordless login link on your site. Each row tracks one link so you can review and act on it.
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| User | The account the link signs in. |
| Status | Whether the link is active, used, or expired. |
| Expiry | When the link stops working. |
| IP | The IP address associated with the link. |
Each row has a Copy button so you can grab a link quickly and send it.
Create a link manually
- Go to Magic Link → Magic Links in the WordPress admin.
- Use the Create Magic Link form to select the user you want a link for.
- Submit the form to generate the link.
- Copy the link with the per-row Copy button and send it to the user.
You can also generate a link straight from the Users → All Users screen. See Create a Magic Link for a user.
Bulk actions
Select one or more links in the table, choose an action from the Bulk actions menu, and click Apply.
| Bulk action | What it does | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Delete | Removes the selected links from the list. | Free |
| Mark as Used | Marks the selected links as already used, so they no longer log anyone in. | PRO |
| Expire | Immediately expires the selected links. | PRO |
PRO feature
The Mark as Used and Expire bulk actions require Magic Link PRO. The Delete bulk action is free — see Bulk delete Magic Links.
Revoke links per user
To invalidate every active link for a specific user, go to Users → All Users. Each user row action and the Users Bulk actions menu include Revoke Magic Links, which invalidates that user's active links at once. Revoking links is free.
Conclusion
The Magic Links admin page is where you review, copy, create, and clean up passwordless login links across your site. Use the free Delete bulk action and per-user Revoke Magic Links to keep the list tidy, and upgrade to PRO for the Mark as Used and Expire actions. To hand a link to a single user, see Create a Magic Link for a user.
FAQs
Where do I manage Magic Links in WordPress?
Go to Magic Link → Magic Links in the WordPress admin. This page lists every passwordless login link with its user, status, expiry, and IP, gives each row a Copy button, and includes the Create Magic Link form and the bulk actions menu.
How do I delete old Magic Links in bulk?
On the Magic Link → Magic Links page, select the links you want to remove, choose Delete from the Bulk actions menu, and click Apply. The Delete bulk action is free. See Bulk delete Magic Links for details.
What is the difference between deleting, expiring, and marking a link as used?
Deleting removes the link from the list entirely and is free. Expire immediately ends a link's validity while keeping the record, and Mark as Used flags it as already consumed so it no longer signs anyone in. Both Expire and Mark as Used are PRO bulk actions.
