Magic Link's membership and LMS integrations (PRO) let you drop a {magic_link} login link into MemberPress, Paid Memberships Pro, LearnDash, LifterLMS, and Tutor LMS emails, so recipients land signed in exactly where the email points them. Each integration activates on its own when its host plugin is present; you add the merge tag to the email templates you care about.

Consider what happens today when a member gets an email from your site. They receive "Your membership is active" or "You have been enrolled in Advanced Photography", they click through, and they land on a login form. How to turn it on

There is no on/off setting for these integrations — each one runs as soon as both plugins are active. Getting a link into an email is a two-step job:

1. Make sure Magic Link PRO is active.
2. Make sure the membership or LMS plugin is active.
3. Edit the plugin's email template (in that plugin's own settings) and add the {magic_link} merge tag where you want the login link to appear.
4. Save the template and send yourself a test.

How to check it is working

The most reliable test is a real one:

1. Create a test account with an email address you can read.
2. Put it through the flow you care about — a test purchase, a manual enrolment, or a membership assignment.
3. Open the email that arrives.
4. Click the link in a private or incognito window. This matters: in your normal browser you are already logged in, so any link appears to work.
5. You should land on the members' or course area already signed in.

If links are not appearing

• Confirm the {magic_link} tag is in the template. No tag means no link — this is the most common cause.
• Check both plugins are active. The integration is inert unless its partner plugin is running.
• Check the email is actually sent by that plugin. Some sites replace membership emails with a marketing tool or automation. If the message comes from somewhere else, the integration never sees it — use Insert a Magic Link into your emails instead.
• Test in a private window. By far the most common false alarm.
