How to Delete Multiple WordPress Activity Logs in Logify
Need to clear out test entries or tidy a cluttered audit trail? Logify removes multiple activity log entries at once with the Delete Selected bulk action, deletes a single entry with a row-level Delete link, or wipes the entire log with Clear All Logs. This page covers all three, starting with bulk delete.
When Should I Use Each Delete Option?
| Option | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Delete Selected (bulk) | You want to remove specific entries while keeping the rest of your history. |
| Single-row Delete | You want to remove one individual entry. |
| Clear All Logs | You want to permanently erase every log entry and start fresh. |
How to Delete Multiple Activity Logs
Go to:
Logify → Activity Logs

Step 1: Select the Activity Logs
Tick the checkbox beside each entry you want to delete. To select every entry shown on the current page, use the checkbox in the table header.
Note: The header checkbox only selects the logs on the current page, not entries on other pages.
Step 2: Choose the Bulk Action
Above the log table, open the Bulk Actions dropdown and choose Delete selected.
Step 3: Apply the Action
Click Apply. Logify immediately deletes the selected entries and shows a success message confirming they were removed.
How to Delete a Single Activity Log
To remove one entry, hover over its row and click the Delete link. Logify shows a confirmation dialog before deleting, so an accidental click will not remove the entry.
How to Clear All Activity Logs
To permanently erase the entire log in one step, go to:
Logify → Settings → General → Maintenance
Click the Clear All Logs button. This deletes every recorded entry and cannot be undone, so export the log first if you may need it later. See How Can I Download My Website Activity Report?.
What Happens After Deleting Activity Logs?
- The selected (or all) entries are permanently removed from the database.
- Any entries you did not delete remain unchanged.
- New website activity continues to be logged as usual.
Delete vs Automatic Log Retention
Manual deletion and Log Retention both control how much history you keep, but they work differently.
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Delete Selected / Clear All Logs | Manually removes the entries you choose, on demand. |
| Log Retention Period | Automatically removes entries older than the period you configure (7 days, 30 days, or Keep Indefinitely). |
Use manual deletion for one-off cleanups; use Log Retention to keep the log trimmed automatically over time. See Data Privacy, Anonymisation and Log Retention.
Conclusion
Logify gives you three ways to remove activity log entries: bulk Delete selected, a single-row Delete, and Clear All Logs for a full wipe. All are permanent, so export anything you may need first. To keep the log tidy without manual work, configure a Log Retention Period.
FAQs
Can I delete just one activity log entry?
Yes. Hover over the entry's row on the Logify → Activity Logs screen and click the Delete link, then confirm in the dialog. Alternatively, tick that single row's checkbox, choose Delete selected from Bulk Actions, and click Apply. Either method removes only that one entry.
Can I undo a delete in Logify?
No. Deleting activity logs is permanent and cannot be undone from within Logify. Before removing entries you may need for auditing or troubleshooting, export them first so you keep an archived copy outside the database.
Does deleting activity logs affect my website?
No. Deleting log entries only removes the recorded audit records. It does not touch users, posts, pages, plugins, settings, WooCommerce orders, or any other website data. New activity continues to be logged normally after a delete.
Why can't I select every log at once?
The header checkbox only selects the entries displayed on the current page. If your log spans multiple pages, repeat the selection on each page, or use Clear All Logs under Settings → General → Maintenance to remove everything in one step.
How is Clear All Logs different from Delete Selected?
Delete Selected removes only the entries you tick on the Activity Logs screen. Clear All Logs, found under Logify → Settings → General → Maintenance, permanently deletes every entry in the log at once. Both are irreversible, so export the log before using Clear All Logs if you need a record.
