What are the Accounts settings?

The Accounts settings are four fields under Social Linkz → Settings → Configuration → Accounts (a Social Linkz PRO feature added in version 1.9.0) that connect your share buttons to your own social identity: your X username, your Mastodon username, a Facebook App ID, and a Subscribe link. The free share buttons read these values, so once a PRO user fills them in the via credit, the Messenger button, and the Subscribe button work.

How to get credited on X (Twitter) shares

Adding your X username appends via @yourhandle to tweets shared from your posts, so shares point followers back to your account.

To be credited on Mastodon shares as well, enter your address in Mastodon Username (for example, you@mastodon.social).

How to enable the Messenger share button
